It is not recommended to store acai with leafy greens and dairy as these will cause them to turn brown within a few hours. If you wish to keep your acai for a longer duration, store them in the freezer. When you plan to eat the acai, transfer to the fridge the night before so that it can thaw overnight. It is best to limit your storage timeframes since chemical changes upon exposure to oxygen can still degrade the vitamins and minerals in your blended acai. It is recommended to store refrigerated acai for up to 48 hours and frozen acai for up to 7 days. This is to ensure optimal nutrient absorption when you consume your acai.
